Understand the difference between isolating switch and circuit breaker
Speaking of the isolation switch, you may not be familiar with it. It also has a more popular name called "knife gate". Usually, people call the rated voltage at 1kV and above as the isolating switch. It can carry current under normal loop conditions and current under abnormal conditions for a specified period of time, and is generally used in high voltage circuits such as substations, power plants, and the like.
